April at TKP was marked by preparation, new beginnings and big tennis moments. The summer season started in full at all our venues, while work continued on improving the club area at Nobelko.
During the Easter holidays, reconstruction work on the terrace and roof continued and several new improvements were added step by step. A new terrace floor, a new walkway, improved surroundings, banners, plants and a new trampoline for children. All courts are now ready and Nobelko has once again become an even more pleasant place for training sessions, matches and meetings after tennis.
One of the strongest moments of the month was the TKP Fitness Tests 2026, attended by around 150 children and parents. Besides the testing itself, there was also the traditional goulash, homemade cakes from parents and a doubles tournament. The atmosphere throughout the day once again showed that TKP is not only about sports results, but also about community, families and shared experiences.
In April, we also launched another season of the Mini Slam Series tournament for our youngest players and continued fitness training sessions at Dudova under the guidance of Rudolf Patek. We also see strong interest in Dunajská Lužná, where we continue developing tennis activities for children and the public.
We are entering the new season with a record number of teams. At the beginning of May, competitions will start and TKP will enter as many as 24 teams, the highest number in club history.
We were also very happy with the results of our players at domestic and international tournaments. A special achievement came from Lukas Lörinčík, who finished in an excellent 2nd place at the prestigious IMG Future Stars tournament in Greece among the best U12 players in the world.
April once again reminded us that tennis at TKP is not only about results. It is about daily work, shared experiences and the people who create our tennis family.
