December at the Petržalka Tennis Club was not only the end of the calendar year, but also an important transition to the new 2025/2026 tournament season.
The month brought a combination of sporting successes, awards and club moments that confirm the stable performance of TKP across age categories. The beginning of the month belonged to the traditional St. Nicholas visit. More than 250 TKP children received a sweet reward and symbolic thanks for access to training and daily work on the courts.
Shortly after that, the tournament season was in full swing.
Right at the beginning, Nelka Kusendová, Nela Hlucháňová, Daniel Slávik, Maťko Mihal and Sebastián Černák made their mark, taking home podium places in both singles and doubles from the tournaments.
A strong moment in December was the Tennis Player of the Year 2025 poll. Max Lörinčík won the title of Talent of the Year under 15 and thus symbolically closed an exceptional season. The club's success was also underlined by Andrej Adamović's second place in the same category.
TKP players also left a significant mark at the Bratislava Championships. Among the youngest, Stelka Ševcechová and Emka Lörinčíková met in the singles final, and together they also dominated the doubles. Titles and podiums were added by Marko Patúc, Mateo Hudec, Jakub Fleischmann, Marco Urvay, Patrik Rafaj, Diana Kadlečíková, Max Hvorecký, Matej Mihal, Pavol Martišek and Samuel Zuberec.
TKP was also visible beyond the borders of Slovakia. Peťko Remenár successfully represented the club at tournaments in the Czech Republic, Lukas Lörinčík completed a quality training camp at the French academy and Martin Šimunič made his mark at the tournament in Vienna.
December confirmed that TKP is entering the new season prepared – systematically, efficiently and with a clear continuity of work.
