August brought our club many tennis successes at home and abroad.
On the international stage, our representatives Max Lörinčík and Andrej Adamović were in the spotlight. In the Slovak team under 14, they significantly contributed to winning silver at the European Team Championships and the subsequent advancement to the World Championships in Valencia, where Slovakia took an excellent 8th place. Max also added individual success when he won bronze in singles at the European Individual Championships.
The other players also did well. Oliver Kozel dominated the A-level tournament in Humenné without dropping a set, Martin Šimunič and Jakub Fleischmann won third place in the doubles under 18 and Sofia Gašpáriková enjoyed bronze in doubles at the international tournament in Austria. Diana Kadlečíková added another third place in singles in Dúbravka.
Great results also came from Galanta – Sofia Gašpáriková and Lukáš Švarc made it to the final. Sofia took silver, Lukáš gold and Diana bronze in singles.
Our youngest brought special joy. Jonáško Kraus played his first tournament under 7 and immediately won third place. Such moments are as important for the club as big trophies, because they shape the future of TKP.
August was a month full of joy, commitment and beautiful results for TKP.
