The summer holidays may be over, but the tennis season at TKP is showing no signs of slowing down. August brought another series of excellent results both at home and abroad, proving that our players can succeed individually as well as part of a team. This time, it was our teams that delivered the biggest moments of the month.
Our U12 team gave us the biggest reason to celebrate by becoming Slovak Team Champions. Lukas Lörinčík, Marco Urvay, Patrik Rafaj, Matej Mihal, Daniel Kalužný, Jakub Jureňa, Sebastián Černák, Oliver Havran and Mateo Hudec, led by captains Ján Lörinčík and Matej Mihal, also managed to **defend their 2025 title**. Two national titles in a row confirm both the quality of this generation and the hard work behind their success.
Our junior team also returned from the Slovak Team Championships with medals. Andrej Adamović, Lukáš Švarc, Max Lörinčík, Max Hvorecký, Daniel Slávik, Martin Šimunič, Filip Vaškanín, Jakub Krpelan, Lukáš Jasenák and Richard Kučera, led by captains Ladislav Švarc and Samuel Peško, claimed bronze medals. Another valuable team achievement for TKP.
Our youngest players also had plenty to celebrate. At the regional round of the Children's Davis Cup and Fed Cup, the girls finished first, while the boys took second place. Even more importantly, both teams secured their spots in the national finals, where they will compete against the best teams from across Slovakia.
August also brought success abroad. Lukas Lörinčík, together with his Greek partner Giannis Matakoudis, won the doubles title at a top-category tournament in Barcelona. Our players also continued to collect medals at tournaments across Slovakia throughout the summer.
August was another month in which TKP made its mark across all age categories, from our youngest players to juniors. Behind every result are countless hours of training, the work of our coaches and team captains, the support of parents and many competitive matches that help our players keep moving forward.
The summer holidays are behind us. But the rackets are definitely not going back into the bags. The next chapter of the season is just beginning.
