The summer holidays are in full swing, and so is life at TKP. Our courts are filled with children every day, discovering the joy of tennis through our summer camps, while our performance players continue collecting valuable experience and outstanding results at both national and international tournaments.
Once again, July proved that tennis at TKP never takes a summer break – quite the opposite.
Throughout the month, our courts were buzzing with energy and enthusiasm. The summer camps brought children plenty of movement, new friendships, and unforgettable sporting experiences. Every day they improved their tennis skills, competed, had fun, and strengthened their love for sport. We are proud that even during the holidays, TKP remains a place where quality coaching goes hand in hand with the joy of being active.
At the same time, our competitive players successfully represented both TKP and Slovakia at prestigious international events. Lukas Lörinčík once again earned his place in the Slovak national team for the European Team Championships for players under 12. He won all of his singles matches and played an important role in the team's excellent performances, narrowly missing qualification for the final tournament.
Outstanding results also came from Nelka Kusendová and Stelka Ševcechová at the prestigious Dubrovnik Dub Bowl, one of the world's most respected tournaments for young tennis talents. Both girls advanced from their groups into the last sixteen, while together they reached the quarterfinals in doubles, finishing among the tournament's top eight pairs.
Success continued on both domestic and international courts. Sofia Gašparíková won the women's tournament in Bratislava, while Lukáš Švarc finished third at the ITF U18 tournament in Szentes, Hungary, earning valuable international ranking points.
Stelka Ševcechová and Sebastián Černák also celebrated strong doubles performances, alongside many other TKP players who regularly reached the podium throughout July. Behind every one of these achievements are hundreds of training hours, the dedication of our coaches, and the unwavering support of our parents.
July also marked another important step in the development of our club. We introduced MultiSport card acceptance, making tennis at TKP even more accessible to the wider sporting community.
Summer is far from over. More camps, tournaments, and exciting challenges lie ahead. We look forward to another month filled with great performances, unforgettable experiences, and plenty of tennis.
