June was another month of outstanding achievements at TKP. Our teams and individual players once again delivered excellent performances, while the club also took another step forward by introducing even more modern services for all our players.
The biggest achievements came from our teams. Both our Under 8 and Under 10 mixed teams won the Bratislava Championship titles. The Under 10 team also secured qualification for the Slovak National Team Championships.
Our Under 12 team enjoyed an equally successful season, winning the Bratislava Championship and earning a place at the Slovak National Team Championships. Our junior team also delivered an excellent performance by qualifying for the Slovak National Team Championships. Behind every one of these achievements are countless hours of training, the dedication of our coaches and the unwavering support of our parents.
Our older players also enjoyed a successful month. The TKP men's team, made up mainly of junior players, earned promotion to the West Division 2 League, once again proving that our young players are ready to compete successfully at the senior level.
Our juniors also impressed in individual tournaments. Martin Šimunič won the Under 18 singles title in Štúrovo. Richard Kučera finished third in singles and, together with his doubles partner, claimed the doubles title. Among our youngest players, Vojtěch Rovňák finished third at the Under 7 tournament in Skalica.
June also brought an important milestone off the court. In cooperation with Paysy, we launched a new booking system offering faster reservations, easier payments and a more modern user experience. At the same time, we started accepting MultiSport cards, making sport at TKP even more accessible to a wider community.
Results are important to us, but what matters even more is seeing children enjoy sport every day, their desire to improve and the unique atmosphere created by our players, coaches and parents. These are the values on which TKP has been built for the past 25 years.
